Radio Engineering Laboratories * [646C|Upload:REL646C.pdf] FM tuner schematic* [Upload:REL1.jpg] Picture This Radio was one of the first of the very high quality 'FM' tuners and many were used by broadcast station personnel for the following purposes (1) enjoyment at home (2) a high quality monitoring receiver for use at the station and (3) off-air pickup for radio 'relay' broadcasting. This radio came out just as the conversion to the 88-108 mc band was about to finish up. There are a few other REL sets with a bit more history and they will be added as time permits.
