Philips
Philips valves dominated the market in much of Europe. Their side-contact series standardized basing in Europe, at the same time as the Octal base became the standard in American dominated markets. However before the Second World War Philips made only a minor penetration into the British sphere of influence, despite having launched an octal based "Red" series to compete with the American Octal series. Some charts have data slipped sideways by a column due to a missing "Mutual Conductance normal" column.
